BBG Watch has reached half a miilon hits for its website, www.bbgwatch.com or www.usgbroadcasts.com. A group of current and former Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) employees, concerned about BBG plans to end Voice of America (VOA) radio and television broadcasts to China in Mandarin and Cantonese, launched the website in September 2011.
The worst management team in the federal government, as shown in OPM surveys, lost that fight, but it came back with the plan to silence VOA radio broadcasts to Tibet in FY2013.
With your help, we have persuaded members of Congress from both parties to save these broadcasts and have focused public and Congressional attention on mismanagement and poor employee morale at the agency.
