There is little doubt that some top level Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) officials have launched a major campaign to quell criticism, dissent and debate at the agency and its broadcasting entities.
Perhaps this campaign has been triggered by humiliating rebukes their received from Democrats and Republicans in Congress. The effort to eradicate criticism may also be due to BBG Governor Victor Ashe demanding transparency and asking some uncomfortable questions about mismanagement and waste.
