Journalists routinely slain in deadliest region
International Freedom of Expression eXchange: Dagestan has become the most dangerous place in Russia for journalists, reports the Glasnost Defence Foundation (GDF). In May 2010, the director of two radio stations was shot and killed. A few days later, the director of a television station was killed.
