International Freedom of Expression eXchange: Twenty-five press freedom and human rights groups, including nine IFEX members, are calling on the Interim Government in post-revolutionary Kyrgyzstan to respect freedom of the press, and ensure that all media outlets are unrestricted in their reporting of events in the country. Thousands of protesters took to the streets on 7 April in an uprising which lead to the fall of the government.
