Human Rights Watch Human Rights Watch (HRW) – (New York) – Azerbaijani courts sentenced an opposition social media activist to two-and-a-half years in prison on bogus drug possession charges on May 4, 2011, Human Rights Watch said today. In addition, a court ordered the detention of a human rights defender on May 3, for allegedly interfering in the November 2010 parliamentary elections.
