AIDS activist sentenced to seven years in jail

IFEX   International Freedom of Expression eXchange International Freedom of Expression eXchange: Maksim Popov, a prominent Uzbek anti-AIDS activist, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for his brochure “HIV and AIDS Today”.
